Fortune is taking a sober look at the work of Aubrey de Grey, the biogerontologist behind the SENS initiative and co-founder (with Dave Gobel) of the Methuselah Mouse Prize for anti-aging research. Some of the most important steps in the fight to cure aging involve generating widespread public understanding of - and desire for - the necessary medical research.
